Registration Open: What About Me? Domestic Violence in LGBTQ Communities

Registration is open for the What About Me? Domestic Violence in LGBTQ Communities on Friday, May 7, 2010 in Perrysburg, OH.

This training is designed to build capacity round providing culturally competent services to LGBTQ survivors of domestic violence.

Topics will include gender expression, gender identification, daily living issues of transgender individuals and making shelters accessible to transgender survivors.

This training will be facilitated by Gary Heath (BRAVO), Jacob Nash (TransOhio) and ODVN staff.

The cost of the training is:

  • $25 per person for member agencies
  • $60 per person for non-member agencies

This training will provide 5 CEU’s for counselors and social workers.
