This year marks the tenth annual TransOhio Transgender and Ally Symposium! In celebration of the anniversary, the theme of this year’s conference is “Ten Years of Progress, and the Challenges Ahead.”
The TransOhio Transgender and Ally Symposium began as a one day event in 2008, attended by approximately 80 people, and has since grown to be a three day conference with over 250 participants, 75+ workshops, and various continuing education credits for qualifying professionals on our Providers’ Day. We are proud of what we have accomplished in the past 10 years, and looking forward to seeing what we can do to help combat legal, medical, familial, and societal barriers moving forward, with your help.
TransOhio will not turn away anyone in the community who wishes to attend the Symposium but lacks financial resources to do so. Scholarships are available for anyone who needs one; please fill out the scholarship applications and send them to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 21st. Upon approval you will be provided directions to complete registration for the Symposium. The symposium is free to anyone under the age of 18. Simply register and select complimentary registration under the youth category. Thanks!

As a 501 C 3 non profit organization, TransOhio endeavors to keep the costs of attendance to the symposium to a minimum and to provide scholarships to those in need as well as to provide free attendance to all youth under the age of 18.
Because of this, our registration fees do no begin to cover the cost of putting on the symposium, and therefore we rely on sponsorship from individuals, businesses, and organizations to the TransOhio Transgender and Ally Symposium possible. Please familiarize yourself with our sponsorship package for more information, and contact us if you have any questions.
